Territory Manager - Diabetes

Building on our strong growth and to support our expanding business and products we have a new role based in Wellington to support our lower North Island territory, for an experienced, and results focused Diabetes Territory Manager. Reporting to our Sales Manager, you will be accountable for maximising and driving strong growth in the sales of Pharmaco’s Diabetes range of products. What we are looking for:
A successful and driven Diabetes Territory Manager who brings their knowledge of and experience in the New Zealand healthcare industry, along with their great relationship building and account management skills, and who is excited to be an integral part of growing our revenue, market share, and brand presence for our Diabetes business. Specifically, you will in your territory:
Develop and implement a sales strategy, tactical account and sales cycle plans for our Diabetes range of products, so you drive sales performance and maximise the budgeted revenue, growth, cost, and margin targets.
Develop and manage key account relationships and contracts with diabetes related medical professionals and organisations to deliver sales targets for each account.
Build and continue to develop high levels of product knowledge and provide technical support and product training to customers.
Build credible and trusted partnerships and relationships with medical professionals, product purchasers, product users and influencers in the diabetes related sector, to ensure optimal levels of customer engagement. This includes key decision makers, Diabetes Clinics, Diabetologists, Diabetes Clinicians; Diabetes Nurse Educators and key GP diabetes community specialists and influencers across your territory
Support marketing initiatives to drive revenue and implement promotional activities.
Work closely and collaboratively with our NZ sales team, customer services, customer care, warehouse, distribution, supply chain teams and our product managers.
What will you bring?
At least 12 months' proven sales experience within the pharmaceutical/healthcare industry in NZ, ideally with experience in diabetes
A strong track record of sales and account management success having consistently delivered results as demonstrated by the achievement of sales targets and budgets, along with a proven ability to identify sales opportunities and experience developing territory and account management plans
Strong analytical skills and the ability to implement sales strategy and account management and sales cycle plans
Strong business acumen and commercial judgement, and the ability to identify new business opportunities and opportunities for strategic partnerships
Outstanding communication and relationship building skills – experienced, confident and credible at building strong relationships both internally and externally at all levels of organisations, collaborating effectively with all stakeholders
Ability to present well and credibly to a broad spectrum of key stakeholders
Good technological skills including the ability to embrace and effectively utilise technology, analyse data and to run our CRM system
You will be available and happy to travel regularly throughout your territory
You must have NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa
