Who we are looking for:
We are seeking a sales professional with entrepreneurial flair to join our highly successful sales team working for a leading Technology company. This role will foster and transform our education customers by helping them overcome digital inequities and increase their opportunities for the future.
This role will focus on delivering on all financial, volume, and account targets. With your proven account management skills, you will develop sound strategies to drive growth and chase new business through exceptional analysis and planning, ensuring the achievement of mutually commercial objectives for both the company and your customers.
As a Cyclone Account Manager, you will create long-term trusting relationships with our customers. In this role, you will liaise with cross-functional internal teams, including Administration, Procurement, and Service Departments, to improve customer engagement, connect with key business executives and stakeholders, while ensuring we focus on positive customer outcomes.
The Account Manager oversees a portfolio of assigned customers, develops new business from existing clients, and actively seeks new sales opportunities. Ultimately, to be successful in this position, you will collaborate with our sales team to achieve targets while keeping our customers delighted and engaged with our products and services. This position may require occasional travel.
What you will do:
To be proactive in driving the increase in sales for all hardware, software and services.
Proven successful experience to engage customers with the range of technology solutions and services.
Engagement with corporate customers at a Leader and IT Manager level.
Have the ability to discuss technical solutions and lead strong business discussions.
Be able to clearly articulate technology trends and cross platform technologies with the benefits they bring to all aspects of the associated business.
To manage mid-level relationships in a number of existing cyclone customers.
To organise and attend promotional opportunities such as customer focused presentations as appropriate.
To be constantly looking to enhance and improve our product and services offerings to the school's market.
To understand the market and be on the lookout for new products and opportunities which will be a good fit to Cyclone's existing offerings.
To act as a product manager and mentor with certain vendors to help and promote their products internally with the customer service representatives to ensure the highest level of responsiveness is delivered to our customers.
What you will bring:
Significant experience in the IT sector beneficial.
Self-management- ability to work autonomously while also contributing positively within a team environment.
Results orientation - Proven performer able to build outstanding relationships to drive solid results.
Personal accountability - you will be someone who wants to own their role and being successful is important to you.
Planning and organisation are part of your DNA. The successful candidate will have a strong grounding in technology-based sales and be able to demonstrate recent successful examples of customer relationship management and successful sales.
The right person will be a motivated self-starter with loads of initiative, a can-do attitude, passionate about technology and using it to make our customers lives easier.
