The position requires the candidate to be based in or open to relocating to the Tasman region.
You will
Have extensive knowledge of resource management planning in New Zealand along with a planning and/or resource management degree
Hold or be eligible for New Zealand Planning Institute membership
Have a minimum of at least 4 years' experience in the resource management planning sector
Have practical and all-round planning experience
Possess excellent interpersonal skills along with an ability to communicate effectively with relevant stake holders
The role
As a Senior Planner, you will play a critical role in contributing to the ongoing development of projects in the Tasman region. Success in this role will require strong interpersonal skills and the ability to create and maintain positive relationships with clients and colleagues. Prepare resource consent applications and liaise with regional and local authority representatives.
Work in a variety of areas, from urban design to master planning, along with working closely with local Iwi

Provide planning, environmental and land development consultancy services.
Assisting local councils in acquiring and processing resource consents when required
Have practical and all-round planning experience
Creating and maintaining honest genuine relationships with clients and stakeholders
