Job Description About this opportunity
This varied Account Manager role operates in a business to business market environment and is responsible for managing the existing customer base as well as expanding into new market segments. Your challenge will be to work in partnership with our clients to develop innovative packaging solutions, taking ownership to project manage ideas from concept to sale and maintain the excellent standard of service our reputation is built upon.
Your key responsibilities will be to:
Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships
Delivering new volume, new concepts and new markets to the business.
Quarterly Business Reviews
Maximise volume opportunities from existing customers
Manage product development opportunities both within existing base and through new markets and new customers
Develop innovative packaging solutions, taking ownership to project manage ideas from concept to sale and maintain the excellent standard of service
Build profitable recycle offerings and subsequent markets
Contribute to generation of annual strategic plan
Your skills and experience
To be successful in this role, you’ll have:
5 years sales experience minimum, at a senior account management level
Ability to work autonomously
Business to business sales experience gained within the manufacturing sector, with ideally some experience in a technical role, or alternatively, experience in the Animal Health or Pharmaceutical markets
Stronglateral thinking, excellent negotiation,analytical & numerical skills
Exceptional communication skills
Qualifications Tertiary qualifications would be preferred as there are a number of opportunities within the wider group for talented, professional individuals who have the ability and desire to move up
Additional Information Note that although the manufacturing facility is based in Hamilton, we are open to other locations as we have office space at our other PACT site locations.
