Water Treatment Service Team Lead

Wavelength Water has over 17 years of experience in professional design, installation, maintenance and repair of water treatment systems used in municipal water supplies, swimming pools and commercial and industrial water treatment.

The Role:
Due to expansion in our organisation, we are looking for a skilled Service Team Lead with an engineering/trades background. This role is critical in the efficient development, management and delivery of service activities and parts/consumables sales, including quotations, technical service solutions, scheduling and reporting to customers and management for service and related sales activities.
Key Responsibilities
Draw up and maintain service agreements as required
Ensure profitability and staff productivity on all service activities
Provide quotations for service work, parts, consumables and equipment
Plan and schedule routine and reactive service work efficiently and accurately using company systems.
Work closely with the General Manager and Project Team Lead to ensure staff are being utilised efficiently across the business for operational activities
Ensure service reports are completed and sent to customers quickly and accurately
Provide early warning and input into forecasting the ordering of consumables and parts for jobs, ensuring adequate stock levels
Provide technical leadership for products, including assistance in specifying, quoting, commissioning, troubleshooting
Communicate timing effectively with customer and understands criticalities around the customers plant
Minimise non-billable work and re-work
Assist in the field when required for key commissioning activities, training and troubleshooting
Embraces the “they don’t call us, we call them” motto with regard to routine service activities
Build and maintain good working relationships with new and existing customers
Provide mentoring, training and support to staff as a senior team member
Help ensure team health and safety functions are embraced
Manage team outcomes and manage team member KPI’s
