We work collaboratively with our customers to support their infrastructure and services needs as they tackle aging assets, regulatory reform, climate change, new technologies, and changing consumer behaviours
You'll be responsible for managing people on site as well as representing the business at stakeholder meetings. Ultimately, you'll ensure that we deliver to contract requirements, as well as optimise resources and achieve our targets. This is a diverse and challenging role with plenty of career potential!
Day to day you will;
Lead the coordination and prioritisation of resources across projects
Coordinate resources, procurement and delivery of materials, plant and equipment
Manage submission of plans to local authorities and liaise with stakeholders to undertake relevant inspections throughout the project
Manage change and implementation of projects and programs
Establish and manage project plans to ensure alignment with program strategic goals and project outcomes
Manage and monitor adherence to legislation and standards of performance and safety
Negotiate with stakeholders throughout the construction process and project lifecycle
Plan, organise, direct, control and coordinate construction of engineering and building projects, and all resources involved in the construction process. Registration or licensing may be required.

Nga pūkenga matua | Important Skills
You will be an experienced Project Manager; you'll know and understand the construction industry and all the challenges and opportunities that it brings. You'll couple this with:
Extensive experience with estimating, tendering and commercial knowledge
Strong project management skills and the ability to drive the end-to-end bid strategy and proposal development
Well-developed business acumen and the ability to think and act strategically
A collaborative approach to working within and across multi-functional teams from different parts of the business
Ability to work under pressure in a fully integrated team environment
Excellent people skills including a total commitment to creating a Zero Harm workplace
A bachelors degree or higher qualification or at least 5 years of relevant experience may substitute for the formal qualification.

Salary Range: $115,000 - $130,000
