Archway Recruitment have partnered with Tidy Slabs Ltd, a specialist Construction sub-contractor who are on a mission to challenge the status quo in the industry when it comes to the overall customer experience, and quality standard. They are specialists in the planning, structural design and construction of concrete foundations and slabs, servicing property developers, commercial constructors, and residential group home builders across the wider Wellington region.
The Opportunity:
The Project manager is a senior role within Tidy Slabs that has been created to guarantee project execution across multiple sites, ensure an exceptional client experience, and high quality standard. You will be the “change maker” and work collaboratively with the senior leadership team to champion positive and impactful change across day to day operations. Key responsibilities include:
Quality Assurance
Planning and scheduling multiple projects simultaneously
Organising and management of contractors
Client liaison and sub-contractor management
Health and Safety
Technical Problem solving on site.
Mentoring and motivating staff and contractors
About You:
We are looking for professional and well-organised Project Manager, Site Manager or Builder who has the technical know-how, and understanding of Residential Construction in New Zealand, with sound knowledge in the mechanics of concrete foundations and slabs. Further requirements include:
Relevant construction industry qualification. (LBP is desirable)
Experience in scheduling and workflow management software across multiple sites
Excellent communication skills
Ability to plan and organise and streamline processes across multiple projects
Strong influencing and motivational skills
A passion for the industry, and pride in your craft
A client focussed attitude
You must be a New Zealand Resident or have a current open work visa to be consider for this opportunity.
