About the Role:
This is a fundamental position that will see you responsible for ensuring the South Island retail stores are exceeding sales targets and budgets, maintaining a high level of operational excellence, service delivery and compliance. You will need to have a safety-first approach, making sure all stores adhere to strict health and safety policies and procedures, as well as the ability to drive growth within your store networks. People leadership is a crucial part of this position as you will also be accountable for communicating business performance, operations, and sales and marketing activities to your stores.
To be successful you will need:
3+ years' experience in effectively managing people, as well as the ability to develop sales processes and customer service excellence in all stores.
At least 2 years' experience with monitoring of budgets and profitability across a store network, including assisting managers to achieve targets through various channels and running reports where necessary
A strong focus on Health and Safety and compliance across your region
A solid background in retail or wholesale management, with tyre industry knowledge and expertise
Excellent people leadership, training and development skills
