About the role:

As an Account Executive, you will build and own the success of CDCs customers. You will act as the conduit between customers and CDC, making sure that customers are aware of all of CDC's services. You will be responsible for business development, building networks within the industry and contractual signing of new customers whilst providing exceptional experiences. You will be joining a high performing, collaborative team managing proactive sales conversations, building proposals, responding to tenders, as well as building new partnerships.

Other responsibilities include:

Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities in the National Critical Infrastructure industries.

Delivering net new revenue pipeline and closed sales.

Working with internal teams and stakeholders to ensure customer success.

Providing thought leadership and mentoring to teams.

Proactively building on customer-focused culture.

Contributing to the broader CDC team financial and operational objectives.

Acting in an ambassadorial capacity for the company.

Leading, attending, and contributing to appropriate team and stakeholder meetings and committees.

Embracing and modelling CDC's DNA and Leadership Fundamentals.

Other duties as directed from time to time.

About you:

Extensive experience in identifying and pursuing new opportunities in the National Critical Infrastructure industries, for both Enterprise and Government

A people person with passion and genuine care about improving business practices for our customers and developing meaningful customer relationships

Excellent delivery of technical, administrative, and consulting support to new and existing customers

Leadership experience with demonstrated ability to focus on customer growth in the region

Commercially savvy and understanding of technical infrastructures and factors impacting the business, opportunities, and growth targets

Takes pride in being the customer advocate and aligning to their strategic plan

Work effectively with delivery leads to ensure consistent and clear communication on new/existing projects with various internal/external stakeholder

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Essential:

New Zealand citizenship / Permanent Residence and ability to obtain, an appropriate NZ Government Security Clearance
