Purpose
The COO will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing the company's strategic initiatives, driving operational and service excellence, and fostering innovation across our services and software divisions. They will collaborate closely with the CEO and other members of the executive team to align operational objectives with overall business goals and ensure sustainable growth and success.
Key Responsibilities
Provide visionary leadership to the Manawanui team and the organisation as a whole, inspiring confidence, trust, and respect.
Develop & execute annual strategic plans to drive business growth, market expansion, and sustainable profitability.
Lead all aspects of the operations workflow process and provide the business with the first line of direct customer service and support.
Champion a customer-centric approach to business operations, ensuring that all initiatives and decisions prioritise enhancing the customer experience.
Lead strategic planning efforts to align operational objectives with overall business goals and objectives.
Lead the people and culture function at Manawanui ensuring best practice HR policy & processes are in place.
Collaborate with the CFO to develop and manage the company's budget, financial forecasts, and financial performance.
Identify and assess operational risks and develop strategies to mitigate and manage them effectively.
Experience
Previous business experience of at least 7 - 10 years (preferably longer) in a similar role(s) in a service orientated organisation.
Demonstrates commercial understanding with sound business experience in small to medium organisation, working with entrepreneurial environment an advantage.
Able to use Information Technology with expert knowledge and experience.
Demonstrated ability to manage confidential and sensitive information and present a professional and positive image.
