About the role:
Based at our modern Airport Oaks head office, you will be pivotal in the success of the organisation. This is a fast paced, busy role and will involve the sourcing, ordering and inventory control of a wide range of products, whilst working closely with Sales and Customer Service to deliver the best possible product and service to customers.
This fulltime role offers a large degree of autonomy, so you’ll need strong problem-solving skills and initiative to be successful – the right person will have the opportunity to evolve the role and really put their stamp on it.
Key Responsibilities:
Building strong supplier relationships and maintaining effective, reliable supply lines
Requirements planning and purchasing of a variety of products from local and offshore suppliers
Liaising with and supporting Sales and Customer Service with product information, ETAs and other relevant info as required
Managing stock levels and ensuring optimal inventory control in on-site and 3PL warehouses
Key Attributes:
Proven experience in a similar role, with the ability to plan, prioritise and organise tasks to ensure deadlines are met
Strong computer literacy and confident with MS Office suite, especially Excel. Previous experience with SAP Business One would be a huge advantage.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and a strong attention to detail
The ability to work well under pressure whilst prioritising workloads and meeting deadlines, self-motivated with a willingness to learn and upskill
A strong team-player with an excellent work ethic (a sense of humour under pressure is a definite bonus!)
