Are you looking for a teaching role that allows you to grow? Is a fun and caring, team environment what you are looking for? Is working with motivated, kind and respectful learners important to you? Do you prefer to take your CRT as whole days, with the opportunity to work from home when possible?

Then Goodwood is the school for you!

Due to roll growth we are looking for a teacher to join our team in the Y2–4 area of our school.

We will nourish you with high quality professional learning, daily fresh fruit and snacks, stylish merchandise and a proper coffee machine! All of this in an idyllic rural setting at a very well resourced school.

This can be a full time or 0.8 position for the right applicant. Level is by negotiation within the Y2–4 area of our school.

Commencing as soon as possible, by negotiation (no later than the beginning of 3), we are seeking an inspiring, innovative, and child-centred teacher to teach in our collaborative and culturally sustaining school.

Our school is a U5 school with a roll of 370 set in park-like grounds, 5 minutes scenic drive from Cambridge or 15 minutes (in the opposite direction to the traffic!) from Hamilton.

The teacher we are looking for will be able to:

Build effective, warm and culturally responsive learning relationships with learners, their whānau and staff

Engage learners through relevant, innovative and high-quality classroom management

Use effective formative assessment strategies to plan and deliver programmes that meet the needs of all learners

Work collegially and collaboratively.

An understanding of, and ability to teach literacy with a scope and sequence approach would be an advantage and we can provide high-quality professional learning opportunities in this area.
