Job Description About your new employer:

West technology has been retained to recruit for an Australian-owned MSP doing exciting things in the Sydney market. Rapidly evolving with a key emphasis on growth, this is a terrific opportunity for a motivated Service Desk Specialist to come in and add value to a great team.

About your new role:

Due to sustained growth, an opportunity has opened for an up-and-coming Service Desk Specialist to join the team. This person will work closely with the senior team members to manage both infrastructure and cloud environments as well as deliver outstanding service to companies throughout Sydney.

Some of the key tasks will include:

•Daily management of the IT Service Desk including client interaction and resource coordination (Circa 10-15 tickets per day);

•Involvement in systems implementations/upgrades and hardware roll-out projects;

•Installing, maintaining, and supporting Windows Servers and operating systems;

•Supporting Office 365;

•Building and maintaining remote access environments (Citrix / VPN / RDS);

•Configuration of firewalls, routers, and switches.

About you!

•Comes with 1-3 years of experience within a IT Helpdesk or IT Support role;

•A go getter with a ‘can do’ attitude;

•Is a team player and passionate about forging a career within the IT industry;

•Critical to your success will be your communication skills;

•Experience with Active Directory & ticketing systems are required;

•Phone, face-to-face & onsite support is beneficial for this role.
