We are looking for someone to lead and optimise Luisetti Seeds' finance function. This is a highly visible role that engages with managers and employees across the business and a broad range of external stakeholders. In the role, you will be an integral member of the Senior Leadership team, as well as Board secretary.

Luisetti Seeds is a family-owned business established in 1932. Our vision is to be the most trusted provider of grain and seed products in New Zealand and we are excited by the growing demand to export New Zealand seed around the world. We establish long-term relationships with our customers and suppliers, and in some cases, have been dealing with farming families for 3 or even 4 generations.
About This Role
As Finance Manager, you will report to the Managing Director and you will be responsible for leading the finance function and ensuring its effective operation. Whilst no two days are the same, key aspects of the role include:
Leading, developing and empowering a motivated, high performing team;
Monthly reporting including preparation of management accounts;
Managing cashflow;
Monitoring and regularly reporting on financial performance and progress against strategic priorities;
Financial modelling, data analysis and providing meaningful insights;
Preparing and co-ordinating budgets and forecasts;
Risk management and assisting in the continual improvement of internal control policies and procedures;
Oversight and co-ordination of Luisetti Seeds IT needs.
About you
You are a self-motivated and results-driven leader who has the energy to wear several hats! You are:
Tertiary qualified with a relevant professional membership (CA / CPA or equivalent)
A trusted leader known for coaching, empowering, and developing your team;
A collaborative leader who in parallel drives for results and holds team members to account;
Motivated and willing to go the extra mile;
An open, effective, and transparent communicator;
Business savvy and well versed in financial planning, reporting and putting financial controls in place; and most importantly….

The role is based at our head office in Rangiora.
