We are looking for individuals who are passionate about hospitality and have vast experience in supervising in restaurants. To be successful in this role you must have the maturity to manage a shift and lead a team by example.
This full-time permanent role (minimum 40 hours per week) is based at Sudima Christchurch Airport and the rate will be $80,000 - $90,000 per year.

Responsibilities | Ngā haepapa
Management and leadership of the hotel food & beverage service outlets – including the restaurant, bar, conference, room service and Bars on a day-to-day basis
Adopts a broad-based future focus to food trends and opportunities supportive of the Restaurant, Bars and Conference Service direction
Meet and exceed guest expectations, enabling the Food & Beverage operation of the hotel to be recognised as a purveyor of consistent, quality and value for money cuisine.
Ensure food and beverage standards, preparation, presentation, and production techniques are established and monitored to meet Brand Standard guidelines and maintained at that level. Work with the restaurant and bar teams and take corrective action where appropriate, and within company guidelines, if standards are not met
Help plan, cost, develop and implement new and innovative ways to identify guest engagement with the Food & Beverage concepts
Comply with the terms and conditions of the premises’ liquor licence/s
Plan, cost, develop and implement new and innovative ways to identify guest engagement with the Food & Beverage concepts.
POS programming and trouble shooting. Ensure integration between internal systems is managed in conjunction with other departments and IT Manager.
Prepare and cost Wine Menu.
Adhere to Purchasing guidelines, utilising preferred suppliers, and ensuring purchases meet quality, cost effective, sustainability and efficiency requirements
Must hold valid GM License and LCQ
Work as a team to ensure exceptional service and dining experiences
Ability to remain calm under pressure, willing to go the extra mile to ensure guests make the most of their day
Outstanding communication and customer service skills, with good attention to detail
Have the desire to learn and grow your hospitality career
Bar and barista experience
Flexibility to work outside normal hours as required. (which may include early morning starts, late finishes, weekends and public holidays)
NZQF Level 1 qualification (ANZSCO Skill Level 1)
Or least five years of relevant experience may substitute for the formal qualifications listed above.
