Job Description About the Role:
A significant leadership opportunity has arisen, to lead our Operational Team, including our Engineering function, to on-going success and continuous improvement.
Reporting to the Business Unit Manager and a key part of the site management team, you will be measured on your ability to deliver Operational Excellence, with focus on safety, cost, quality & efficiency, while meeting our customer expectations.
You’re a smart and agile thinker who has the ability to work tactically, while developing and driving strategic operational improvement & performance, utilising an established and dedicated team.
As the leader in our operation, you will be able to demonstrate:
Proven leadership skills in a commercial, manufacturing and operational environment.
The ability to manage, motivate and develop staff effectively.
A high level of business and professional acumen.
A commitment of continuous improvement.
Lean Manufacturing experience
The ability to lead through operational K.P.I’s.
A strong Operational & Engineering background.
Ability to transfer skill base & knowledge through training and documentation.
The following attributes are essential for the right person:
10+ years of manufacturing experience and a good knowledge of manufacturing best practice.
Ability to lead transformational change in operational excellence.
A great people leader with excellent communication and listening skills.
Strong decision making and problem-solving skills.
Proven ability to communicate across all levels of the organisation.
Adaptable, focused, with the ability to operate under pressure.
