If you say yes to the above, we are looking for you! We are looking for a motivated Clinic Coordinator to lead our team based in Glen Innes, Auckland, to achieve its full potential while overseeing the daily operation of our clinic.
Tāmaki Health is a strong network of over 40 clinics delivering care through our affiliated general practices, urgent care clinics, specialist centers, and occupational health clinics. Through our clinic brands including Local Doctors and White Cross, we serve New Zealand's communities with the highest standard of GP and Urgent Care.
About the position
The Clinic Coordinator plays a vital part in the day-to-day operation of our clinics, reporting to the Regional Manager & your Locality Manager, you will provide strategic & operational leadership of a busy Medical Centre, making sure staff delivers the best service for all our patients.
This role will give you the flexibility to make decisions and will challenge your judgment and leadership to achieve different goals and targets.
Key Responsibilities
Ensuring the clinic has a strong client/ patient focus
Leading a team with a focus on clinic performance and operational requirements
Overseeing attendance and weekly hours approval for payroll purposes
Recruitment & Retention of staff
Managing clinic roster including training rostering
Managing all compliance of your clinic
You will need to have:
Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills.
Preferably previous experience managing a team in the medical industry
Outstanding organizational and time management skills.
Analytical mind set and problem-solving orientation.
Knowledge of Lean operations is a definite advantage.
Strong and confident communication skills.
Good knowledge of a variety of software packages including Microsoft 365.
A high level of skill and knowledge of MedTech 32 practice management software or similar will be a definite advantage.
Someone who is committed to the principles of health equity and cultural competency and who is able to demonstrate an understanding of Māori tikanga and kawa and Te Tiriti o Waitangi.
