About the role As an Environmental Health Officer (EHO) in the NZ Army you will provide Environmental Health advice and support to NZ Army forces and other associated organisations during training and operations. This will involve improving the operational efficiency and effectiveness of NZ Army by assisting in the reduction of preventable illness and injury during training and operations.
Job on base The Army has a requirement for a wide range of Specialist Officers to fulfil roles for which they cannot train the professionals themselves.
There are opportunities to further your professional development and tertiary study. After initial employment and training, the NZ Army will provide funding and study leave for EHO to complete further professional study for a number of different courses including:
Post graduate study in an approved area of specialty
International military and civilian courses
