Haven Falls - Poutama Tangihanga are looking for highly motivated people with a genuine desire to serve whanau in a very challenging and stressful time, to join our teams in Tamaki and Whangārei. This position will involve all aspects of the tangihanga / funeral process, you will have the responsibility to serve whanau, guiding them through the process of planning and organising and then carrying out their plans for the tangi - funeral. The role also offers the opportunity to learn the embalming process.
The successful applicant will need the ability to display.
- Attention to detail.
- Excellent personal presentation.
- Competent computer skills, familiar with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Highly effective organisational and time management skills.
- A compassionate and caring disposition.
- Respect and empathy for others.
- Be physically fit
- Have a keen willingness to learn and take on the required training.
Applicants must also have
A FULL clean driver’s licence
A clean criminal record.
Must be extremely flexible and be able to work after hours, weekends and public holidays, in addition to your usual working days and hours, as part of a rostered rotation.
The ability to travel as this role involves rotation to other Haven Falls sites
No experience required as training will be provided to the successful applicant.
