Weare a proactive team providing the highest standard of care for our patients.We pride ourselves on being friendly and supportive, and work in a busyinter-disciplinary environment focusing on promoting, encouraging and enablingthe health, well-being and independence of the people in our community.
Thisposition has a specific focus on stroke rehab, and will be placed within theCommunity Rehabilitation Team.
The hours for this role are 40 hoursper fortnight working Monday - Friday.
Ko wai he kaitono tōtika? (Who is anappropriate applicant?)
You will have at least two yearspost-qualification experience, NZ registration in Occupational Therapy, acurrent practicing certificate and a range of generalist and specialist skills.
Additionally, you will bring thefollowing :
The ability to work autonomously and collaboratively, within the inter-disciplinary team.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong clinical reasoning skills and use of evidence informed practice.
Effective time management and organisational skills.
Full clean drivers' licence.
Complex Housing and Level 1 Wheelchair Enable accreditation are welcome, but not essential.
You will also be adaptable to change,resourceful and flexible to service needs, and will have a genuine passion forworking with patients in the community on their health journey.
