InterContinental Auckland, a prestigious luxury hotel, is seeking a dynamic and creative Digital Marketing Executive to join our team. Located in the heart of Auckland, our hotel provides an unparalleled experience for guests, with stunning views of the Waitematā, exceptional service, and world-class amenities. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in elevating our brand through strategic content creation and management.
A little taste of your day to day
Content Creation: Develop engaging and compelling content for both the hotel and Advieh Restaurant and Bar. This includes but is not limited to website content, blog posts, promotional materials, and more.
Website Management: Take full responsibility for updating and maintaining the content on both the hotel and restaurant websites, ensuring information is accurate, up-to-date, and aligned with our brand messaging.
Social Media Management: Drive the social media strategy for the hotel and restaurant across platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and others. Create and curate content that resonates with our target audience, increasing engagement and brand awareness.
Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including Sales, Events, and F&B, to ensure cohesive messaging and marketing efforts. Collaborate with external agencies as needed.
Campaign Development: Conceptualize and execute marketing campaigns to promote special events, offers, and seasonal promotions. Monitor and analyse the performance of campaigns to optimise results.
Market Research: Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and market changes. Use insights to adapt marketing strategies and ensure the brand remains competitive.
What we need from you
Bachelor degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
Proven experience in marketing and communications, preferably in the hospitality industry.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in content creation tools and platforms.
Experience with website management and updating.
Social media savvy with a deep understanding of various platforms.
Creative mindset with the ability to think strategically.
