Senior Asset Manager

Are you passionate about promoting safety, sustainability, and innovation in asset management. If so, we have an exciting opportunity to assist with the Hawkes Bay Cyclone recovery as a Senior Asset Manager.
About the role:
Based in the Hawkes Bay, your role will be to provide support and direction for the re-building of roads and bridges as well as planned road maintenance. You will carry out analysis and modelling to determine the current and future condition of the pavement asset network.
Key Responsibilities:
Asset Management – Collaborate with contract teams to disseminate knowledge on asset management principles and processes.
Integrated Maintenance Management – Oversee network performance monitoring and refine maintenance strategies for optimal efficiency.
Data Analysis and Forward Planning – Utilise data analysis to create forward works programs and long-term investment plans.
People Management and Development – Implement a comprehensive training and succession program for asset engineers, focusing on asset inventory data collection, fault identification, condition rating, and treatment selection to promote staff development.
Client Relationship Management – Cultivate strong relationships with clients, proactively anticipating and resolving issues to maintain positive client interactions.
Health and Safety – contribute to and foster a culture where all employees can return home safely.
Qualifications
Tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering
Experience in advanced asset management practices and software.
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
Strong Commercial acumen.
