About the role
Ideally based in Wellington Central, Willis Wellington Hotel is looking for a Guest Service Agent to join our awesome team!
You will be responsible for greeting, registering and checking in/out guests of the hotel, as well as assist in other services.
This is a full-time role, 30 to 40 hours per week, reporting to the Assistant Manager.
Key responsibilities
Ensure an efficient and professional reception experience for guests
Handle daily guest check-in and check-out
Answer phone calls, emails and direct inquiries
Handle guest complaints efficiently and effectively
Ensure that the Duty Manager is kept fully aware of any relevant feedback from guests and/or other departments
Demonstrate and maintain a high level of customer service
Completing reservations and other duties assigned by manager
Comply with hotel security, fire regulations and all health and safety legislation
Skills and requirements:
Minimum 3 years' experience in hospitality
Flexibility to work on a rotating roster (30-40 hours per week), including weekends and public holidays
Punctual, organised and trustworthy
Ability to work as part of a team and follow direction
Excellent attention to detail
High standards of presentation both for yourself and your work
Ability to work on your own as well as part of a team
