About the Role:
Reporting to the Guest Services Manager, the Maintenance Manager is responsible for ensuring the Hotel is presented at a high standard at all times and that all equipment is working efficiently and effectively within all departments.
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Painting.
Ensure jobs are completed with minimum disturbance to guests and customers of the hotel.
Assist with minor repairs to guestrooms.
Ensure the maintenance log’s are resolved in timely manner.
Assist in routine cleaning of air conditioning filters, plant rooms and equipment.
Maintaining electrical tag and testing.
Acts as Project Manager and coordinates all major capital works with all departments.
Participate in hotel emergency response team.
About You:
Minimum 5 years’ experience within a similar position in in a property of similar size.
Solid organisational skills.
Must have an excellent eye for detail to ensure colour matching etc.
Ability to work independently.
Flexibility and availability to work weekdays or weekends including morning, afternoon and evening shifts.
WHS qualifications/skills advantageous.
Tagging & Testing licence advantageous.
