Excellent presentation and communication skills
A clean, full class one, NZ Driver - s License
Ability to cope with work pressures and stress, whist proactively managing conflicting demands on time.
Demonstrated experience in applying relevant legislation, codes, standards, and guidelines.
Demonstratedunderstanding of the Te Tiriti o Waitangi and the implications for publichealth including the determinants of health You preferably will have previously been designated as a HealthProtection Officer by the Ministry of Health and have retained the competenciessuch that designation could be reinstated on appointment.
Applicants with anappropriate undergraduate qualification or a partly completed postgraduatediploma in environmental health science may be considered for appointment as atrainee.
