A little bit about us - We are the Transport Rebuild East Coast (TREC). This alliance has been set up to plan, organise and deliver much of the recovery and rebuild work needed on the highway and rail networks, together with local businesses and contractors across Te Tairāwhiti (Gisborne) and Te Matau a Māui (Hawke’s Bay).
Our alliance members include Waka Kotahi, KiwiRail, Downer, Fulton Hogan, and Higgins.
We have a number of opportunities available for experienced Site Engineers.
Within this role, you will plan, organise, and control the technical and engineering aspects of the construction for the area as allocated by your Area Manager. You will ensure that performance targets under your control are met, together with maintaining the required high standard of safety, quality and environmental performance.
What we need from you:
Relevant tertiary qualification or at least 3 years’ experience working in a Site Engineer role in roading/civil engineering or the construction sector.
Driver’s Licence (current, full and clean)
Excellent knowledge of the relevant NZ legislation, accreditations, industry guidelines and standards
Ability to meet administrative and reporting requirements and deadlines.
Flexible and resilient approach
Proven ability to work with others in a collaborative and professional manner.
