Management Accountant

South Link Management Services provides financial services for our General Practices across NZ as well as our related entities based in our Dunedin office.
As a Management Accountant with us, you'll play a crucial role in overseeing financial operations, analyzing data, and providing strategic insights to support decision-making. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams, contribute to budgeting and forecasting processes, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
You will be responsible for an onsite team of 5 staff and you will report directly to the Chief Financial Officer.
In the role you will be required to perform the following tasks and duties however a full job description is available on request.
Develop and maintain financial models to support business planning and analysis.
Prepare monthly and annual financial reports, including variance analysis and performance metrics.
Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
Conduct cost analysis and identify opportunities for cost optimization.
Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior management to support strategic initiatives.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications , Skills and Experience
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CA certification preferred).
Proven experience as a Management Accountant or similar role.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Proficiency in financial modeling and analysis tools.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
An understanding of Cultural Safety, Cultural Competence & Te Tiriti o Waitangi
