About this opportunity
The primary purpose of the Health & Safety Advisor is to provide tools, guidance, and oversight in cooperation with the QSE Manager and site leadership team to implement Health & Safety Systems, which enhances the culture that promotes well-being and resilience to ensure our people get home safe every day.
Your key responsibilities will be to:
Develop, Implement, Maintain and Audit the HSE Management Systems, accreditation to ISO14001
Health and Safety system alignment across the site
Risk and Environmental systems alignment & Environmental Management
Maintenance and Audit across the site
Embed and lead Site HSE committee
Compliance gap assessment and in partnership with the site management
Ensure the Facility’s SOPs and any other documentation align with site Health and Safety Protocols
Coordinate and oversee employee induction and training management where applicable, and ensure contractor inductions are completed by contract supervisors
Monitor compliance with the Site Risk and Environmental standards, ensuring regular review and update in line with agreed protocols

Qualifications
Essential
H&S Rep: Stages 1,2,3 qualification or similar
Sound knowledge of HSE related
Sound understanding of & ability to effectively use, Word, Excel, Access 2013 & SAP
Desirable
Management Experience in a manufacturing environment
Certificate in Workplace H&S Practice Level 3
Environmental Safety Certificate (SGS)
