Hospital Friends ICU Team Leader (Volunteer) | Christchurch Do you have time to help people in a busy hospital setting? Enjoy working with others and leading a team? We have an exciting opportunity available in Christchurch Hospital to lead and support our Hospital Friends team based in the ICU.
About the role:
Recruitment and training of new volunteers
Provide support and mentoring advice to the team
Liaising with Hospital staff
Reporting and attending Area Committee Meetings as required
Organising recognition events, meetings and training for the team
Attend a minimum of one shift per month at the hospital
About you:
A genuine interest in the well-being of others
Experience and ability to problem solve, lead a team and be a team-player
Computer literate to perform required administrative tasks
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Applicants must be 18+ with a clean criminal record
