We are ready for anything.We have an opportunity for a Planning and Engagement Manager who will be responsible for building effective partnerships and acting as a trusted advisor to the Customer Technology Executive General Manager. You will support the EGM with the planning and engagement activity which underpins the three year planning horizon for their business. This role will work horizontally across different portfolios in the Customer Technology Team and the successful candidate will be proactive and have strong communication and reporting skills.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee strategic business initiatives from development through successful execution under the guidance of senior leadership and departmental headsAssist and communicate with executives in decision-making, program management, and initiative implementationReview, design, and execute on improvements to org structure, find knowledge and skills gaps and help address themImprove current processes and coordinate organisational procedures for optimised efficiency and productivityDrive business unit planning activity by ensuring programs/projects/initiatives milestones and deliverables are well communicated and understood by the accountable owners, measured by feedback from internal stakeholdersDrive, track and support performance against agreed activity for your EGM area and take responsibility for quality production of timely reporting to GLT, T&O LT and Board as directed by your EGM and the EM Planning & EngagementWork with the Technology and Operations Planning and Engagement team and other divisional peers to ensure alignment of opportunities are maximizedLead or participate in projects as determined and directed by the EGMPlan and co-ordinate the strategic governance rhythm in line with the Technology and Operations rhythm such as monthly LT meetings, quarterly ELT sessions and offsites. Co-ordinate the agenda and supporting activities for the EGM to present and participate in, including drafting of or quality assurance of papers and documents to and from the EGMBuild and develop relationships with all team members for increased efficiency and effective responsiveness into existing operations, and help to define new operational strategies, working with the EGM and executives on special projects as they ariseSupport EGM with the development and execution of leaderships voice and tone. Support story telling on the evolution of your EGM area and the Technology & Operations DivisionSkills & ExperienceTertiary qualifications, e.g. Graduate/Postgraduate degree in Technology, Business, Operations, Accounting, FinanceRelevant professional memberships and certificationsProven track record in building strong working relationships across all key stakeholders, coupled with strong influencing skillsDemonstrated experience in leading teams and effectively managing multiple streams of workChange management skills with experience in supporting a business and its key stakeholders in reaching alignment and excitement for the future stateExperience operating and delivering results in a matrix environment and leveraging relationships to influence and drive outcomesExperience with data analysisExperience with budget managementConsulting experience with a focus on operations managementStrong project reporting skills with a focus on interdepartmental communicationStrong experience in process/productivity improvement
