Clink Restaurant & Bar has been an integral part of the Sumner hospo scene since 2010. We are a busy restaurant and bar with a strong focus on excellent products, seasonal menus and great staff that consistently deliver friendly and professional service to our customers and we are seeking a Restaurant Manager to be a part of our culture of excellence!
As Restaurant Manager you are the face of the venue and ensuring our customers have a memorable experience.
Your responsibilities would include:
Day to day operational management - reservations, run sheets, liasing with kitchen, co-ordinating functions and events, ensuring sevice systems are maintained, venue cleanliness and ambience is on point, supervising all FOH staff on shift
Preparing rosters and wage control
Training staff for consistency of products and service
Attending and contributing to regular operations meetings
Ensuring that the venue is properly stocked and maintained for daily operations.
What we really need:
Previous experience in a similar role
Great presentation and excellent communication skils
Someone who thinks out of the box and can solve problems on the go
Managing costs - products and labour
Have LCQ / Current General Managers or the ability to obtain one
Till programming and working with on-line reservation systems
The right to live and work in New Zealand (required)
