Job Description About the role
We are now looking for a highly organised, experienced Senior Payroll Administrator with a keen eye for detail who will take responsibility for the effective and efficient delivery of payment of staff weekly and fortnightly wages in New Zealand. Based in Hamilton NZ, reporting to the Payroll Manager, you will be an integral member of the Shared Services team.
You will be responsible for the following:
Payroll Administrator tasks including processing payrolls and backing up others when team members are on leave.
Ensuring all employee master data is accurate.
Effective and efficient delivery of all projects on time.
Ensuring any legislative and compliance changes are maintained in our systems.
Ensuring all compliance risks are identified, communicated, and addressed in a timely manner.
To be successful in this role you will need:
3-4 years’ experience in payroll and administration.
New Zealand payroll experience including working with multiple collective agreements and individual employment agreements.
Demonstrated capability in process improvement and change management.
Action orientated approach with proven ability to implement and embed change.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Strong analytical skills.
