Whatever it Takes Trust (WITT) is proud to be a lived experience, peer support organisation who has been working in the community for over 20 years. We support Tāngata Whaiora (clients) and Whanau who are experiencing Mental Health, Addictions and Homelessness.
Our Service Teams provide: Peer Support, Lighthouses, Recovery programme (Manaia House), Advocacy, Access & Choice, Outreach, Wellbeing Peer Support, Housing, Tenancy, Residential and Youth supports (Mahea).

The Role: Emergency & Transitional Housing Team Lead
We are looking for an experienced Team Lead to support and lead the Emergency and Transitional Team here at WIT.
You will manage a team that walks alongside Whanau on their recovery journey as they build a sense of wellbeing and strong positive community connections.
We are ideally looking for someone with experience in social housing and/or the mental health and addiction sectors. You will be empathetic and thrive working in an environment that serves the whanau with high and complex needs in our community.
It's Fulltime, (40hrs) 8am - 4.30pm, Monday-Friday, working in Ahuriri.
Essential skills and experience you need for this position:
Mental Health and Wellbeing qualification at Level 4 or higher
Full Driver's Licence
Key understanding of social housing, homelessness, housing and tenancy practices and procedures
Key understanding of Mental Health & Addiction (AOD background is an advantage)
A genuine commitment to and alignment with our values and embracing our cultural diversity specifically our commitment to Māori and Pasifika
Cultural awareness and confidence with knowledge of Tikanga and Te Reo Māori
Te Tiriti o Waitangi & Equitable outcome awareness and the impacts.
A high IT capability - All Microsoft office applications and Recordbase Client Management systems
