Pacific Helmets have an exciting opportunity for a Finance Manager to strategically enhance the company's growth within the manufacturing industry.

Founded in 1982, Pacific Helmets specialises manufacturing and exporting safety helmet products to the exact design and performance specifications of each customer. Pacific Helmets strives to meet, where possible set, and exceed the highest possible international standards for technical safety performance. The Pacific range includes helmets compliant to all major standards throughout the world and include fire, rescue, sports, and ATV helmets.

As the Finance Manager you will be working within a small team, having the responsibility of 4 direct staff to support and drive productivity and accuracy within the department.

Your main objectives are to manage and produce timely and accurate financial reporting and provide accurate taxation and accounting advice. You will analyse and report on the company’s performance along with managing the daily cashflow.

Some Key Responsibilities are:

Review systems and implement improvements

Produce monthly management accounts

Monitor and report on budget variances

Reporting of relevant statistical analysis of financial and non-financial data with a manufacturing context

Implement and convey budgets to other departments of the business

Building strong internal relationships in all areas of the company, you will also maintain key relationships with external partners since, as the company’s bank partners, auditors, creditors, debtors and IRD.

Reporting to the board and company management on useful and relevant taxation information will be a requirement along with maintaining the companies cashflow systems and provide cashflow forecasting.
