As a Business Analyst for our Technology team, you will contribute to functional solution design of proposed features and enhancements, acting as the voice of the customer and working closely with stakeholders and cross functional teams to communicate and define requirements.

This role is based in our National Office in Dunedin, so you must be located in Dunedin or willing to relocate.

Just some of the things you’re responsible for: Software Delivery
Support delivery teams by gathering, analysing, defining, and documenting requirements and business processes to enable successful feature design to provide exceptional experiences for customers.
Play a lead role in collaborating with stakeholders to gather input and consensus, through workshops or interviews.
Translate both technical and business terms, working closely with engineers to ensure alignment on product and business goals.
Support the engineers with creation of test plans and carry out test activities where needed including UAT.
Work collaboratively as a delivery team member, executing on deliverables during the sprint and contributing towards team goals and supporting the agile ways of working.
You’ll need to have: At least 5 years proven success in a business analyst or related role.
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.
The ability to develop and use analysis techniques e.g., process modelling, story maps.
Project management and business process methodologies and tools, including agile.
Collaborative working style, with a commitment to and understanding of human-centred design approaches.
Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to interpret data and insights and identify opportunities for improvement.
Knowledge of product and software development lifecycle.
Knowledge of digital enterprise enablement technologies and practices.
Be able to create and maintain applications, system documentation and product development artifacts.
