Safety n' Action Ltd is a nationwide provider of training in Occupational Health and Safety. Our trainers are highly experienced and practical people, with a shared passion for providing students with the knowledge and tools needed to incorporate sound safety practices into everyday decisions and activities.
We're seeking a trainer to join our mission to aid us in leading the transformation of New Zealand's culture into one where optimal standards for workplace safety become an integral part of its society.
Last year, Safety 'n Action's nationwide trainers and consultants provided professional training to over 44,000 students across New Zealand businesses. With 10 purpose-built centres that provide industry relevant scenarios featuring the highest standard of equipment available in each location; we offer an option for all weathers or a business without suitable premises.
We have over 26 years' of experience dedicated to helping our clients manage their health and safety education requirements, striving on an evolutionary path towards providing optimum quality service with continuous improvement.

As one of our Safety 'n Action Trainers, some of your key tasks will include :

you will serve in an advisory capacity and provide exceptional health & safety training to our valued customers.
being responsible for managing a wide range of administrative tasks that support successful training execution. This includes everything from processing evaluations to assessments and beyond!
This exciting professional role involves imparting knowledge to adults and high schoolers, equipping them with valuable life skills. You will transform people's lives for the better, making the world a safer place, one person at a time. Trainers are provided with set targets for upskilling and sign-off relating to Safety 'n Action product delivery.
We want individuals that thrive on finding solutions, possess the ability to think creatively and independently, have a knack for suggesting innovative ideas as well as bring enthusiasm and passion to their work.
Requirements :
Knowledge and understanding of Health and Safety Legislation
A qualification in Health and Safety would be desirable
Completed or working towards NZQA assessment qualification - US4098
Background in a formal trade, construction, manufacturing, armed or emergency services would be beneficial.
Experience in training/teaching, in particular First Aid, Confined Space, MEWP and Heights would be ideal
Exceptional verbal and written English communication skills
A passion for training and passing on your knowledge and skills
