Clinical Nurse Specialist – Paediatric Palliative Care, Starship Child Health
Permanent, full-time or part-time position

The Paediatric Palliative Care team at Starship Child Health is looking for a Clinical Nurse Specialist in a permanent part-time capacity to join the multi-disciplinary team.
The Paediatric Palliative Care (PPC) team provides specialist palliative care and support for infants, children and young people living with life limiting illness in both hospital and community settings. Palliative care involves some or all of the following: symptom management; psychosocial care; cultural care; spiritual care; advance care planning; respite care; last days of life care and bereavement support.

To be successful you will:
Have NZ Nursing Registration with a current Annual Practicing Certificate
Be legally entitled to work in New Zealand
Have Postgraduate certificate/diploma in specialty nursing practice
Have minimum level 4 practice
Demonstrate knowledge of nursing professional development issues
Have at least 5 years of nursing experience
Have excellent communication skills
Have self resilience
Have a Masters degree in nursing or health related area (Desired)
Have experience in a Paediatric setting
