The successful candidate will:
Deliver qualityservices to improve health of the population in Marlborough region.
Participate inthe ED roster contributing an equal share to shifts.
Join a supportivemultidisciplinary team including five other FACEM’s, and 3 Rural HospitalMedical Practitioners with a team of RMOs and a Nurse Practitioner making a positivedifference.
Supervise and participate inteaching of junior medical workforce.
Enjoy working andliving in one of New Zealand’s most sought-after regions.

The idealapplicant will:
Bring theirmedical expertise and competencies to an acute secondary care hospital andcontribute to critical care to patients in the region.
Have EDexperience and knowledge of the unique demands in a provincial hospital.
Hold FACEM, orequivalent.
Be eligible foran Annual Practising Certificate and vocational scope of EmergencyMedicine with the Medical Council of New Zealand.
Fit into acohesive hospital team culture of collaborative practice, openness, humour andrespect across disciplines.

The salary for this position is based on the current Senior Medical and DentalOfficer collective agreement dependent on skills, experience, and vocationalregistration in NZ. Meca | ASMS
