About the Role
You will support the team in the day-to-day running of events, with a particular focus on Floor Coordinator & IT Support. Our events delivery business is diverse and tailored to our clients – from corporate training to planning days, team-building events, exams, and corporate cocktail parties. The preferred candidate will have availability to work predominantly during the weekdays and has flexibility during weeknights and weekends.
On a day-to-day level, you will:
Maintain client break-out area and coffee stations (especially before and after breaks, lunch, and at the end of the day)
Wait for Evening Canape/Dinner functions
Ensure correct catering is provided and clearly identified with label stands in the client break-out area by checking the catering list
Help in the kitchen washing and clearing dishes from the dining area
Set up for the evening events
Provide technical support to clients and instructors
Assist with internal network support
Install and configure desktop operating systems and application software.
Set Up PA System, Microphone, and Mixing Desk.
About You
We welcome applications from people of all backgrounds. Ideally, you'll have previous experience in either hospitality, catering, events, hotels or client services and are tech-savvy. However, we are also open to fresh graduates who are keen to learn and gain new experiences within the corporate events industry.
The successful candidate will have:
Experience working with all Windows Operating Systems and Apple Operating System
Proven problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
Excellent communication skills and customer-service orientation
Strong desire to work collaboratively and productively as a member of a team.
Exceptional personal grooming
Willingness to support the culture and values of the company
