We have a vibrant team, who work across the full remit of Medical Imaging specialties which include CT, MRI, Fluoroscopy, Nuclear Medicine, Ultrasound and General X-Ray
Opportunities are available for those with skills in the modalities; Ultrasound, MRI, Nuclear Medicine and CT. If not, regular opportunities for modality training arise.
Variation? We’ve got that too. Our day-to-day workload includes outpatient work, fluoroscopy, paediatrics, geriatrics, emergency, theatre, trauma, mobiles, NICU, ICU and ward work.

Our close knit team is currently made up of four Radiologists based on site and very collegial socialising out of work.

Our department provides training to Radiology students from Ara so on the job teaching and supervision will be a part of your new role

We work a rotating shift roster, ensuring a consistent service to the Southland community 24 hours a day, 7 days a week
