This role involves:
Working with clients and contractors to achieve the required project outcomes.
Preparing reports, liaising with approving authorities and assisting clients with the consenting process.
Carrying out site inspections and construction supervision.
Overseeing and coaching the work of small integrated teams.
Co-ordinating project and technical delivery as required.
Business development and client management.
Understanding the NZ Engineering environment and local requirements.
(Requiring a minimum of 2 years' experience working in NZ in a similar position)
The ideal candidate will have proven experience in the areas listed above. Be able to demonstrate their communication skills and experience in effectively leading teams. It is a requirement that this is based on strong NZ experience and at least 7-10 years in Civil Design. Supported by an interest to develop ongoing relationships with Architects and Consultants. You may have acquired your CMEngNZ or be close to completion.
