Nurse Maude is a well-known and highly regarded organisation, who have been providing healthcare services to the community for over 120 years. We have recently been contracted by the New Zealand Nursing Council to administer Objective Structured Clinical Examinations (OSCEs), as part of the registration process for internationally qualified nurses, to take place in a custom-built simulation and assessment centre.
Te Mahi/About the Position
The Assessment Coordinators are the first point of contact for all candidates, staff and visitors to the Simulation and Assessment centre, with a key focus of this role being to ensure a polite and accurate examination registration process for all candidates.
Working as part of an interdisciplinary team, the Assessment Coordinators will be responsible for a range of administrative processes, as well as coordinating catering for staff and candidates on a daily basis. The Assessment Coordinators will act as marshals at different points of the assessment process, ensuring the requirements of nursing council are met.
This is a full-time permanent role, normally working Monday - Friday during business hours.

To be successful in this role you will have:
At least three years' recent administrative experience
A warm and welcoming manner
Strong IT and troubleshooting skills
Excellent organisational and people skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills
A passion for learning and willingness to grow with the service
A proven ability to adhere to protocols, standards and guidelines
Experience and success working under pressure, while solving problems quickly
Our preferred candidate will also have:
Experience working in the health and/ or education sector
Experience working in a multi-cultural environment
