Estimator - Commercial Projects

This well regarded New Zealand owned contractor are in the market for an estimator to join the construction team.
Construction and Technical Recruitment (CTR) are working with a well respected and established New Zealand Construction company. They have been winning in the construction market for years and are looking forward to a positive upswing for 2024.
They have established their reputation through the people within the company and over the years they have built some impressive projects throughout New Zealand. They have decades of experience in the construction sector and continue to win work and role out great projects.
What you put into this role is what you will get back. The opportunities to stay and establish yourself within this company are there for the taking.
To be a success in this office you will need to be an Estimator with anything from 3 years experience, however if you are more senior, please get in touch. They are looking for estimator from either a contractors or PQS background, so if you fancy a change, then why not.
Ideal requirements for this position include:
Relevant QS qualifications
Commercial/Retail/Industrial build background
Strong technically with related software knowledge - Excel
Well-presented and professional attitude
Strong people skills at all levels from site to senior management
Preparation of tender documents
Reviewing drawing and measuring
With their commitments this is an urgent position to be filled and they would like to have someone start as soon as possible. Ideally you will be located in Auckland with local experience, however if you are located outside of the region or on the South Island we still want to hear from you.
