About the role
As the Sales Manager, you will be partnering with existing members and acquiring new members within the Tai Tokerau. This will see you help maximise sales opportunities and the upsell of additional services and overall profitability of the portfolio and business throughout.
Working closely with NorthChamber, you will play a critical role in acting key account manager for EMA members, ensuring the up take of member benefits, offers, addition services, and networking activities.
You will be responsible for:
Growing EMA Services revenue by identifying and closing opportunities with members and prospective members.
Identifying businesses requirements, surveying member needs, analyse market trends and track competitors.
Engaging with EMA members and the wider Tai Tokerau business community, developing strong and meaningful relationships
Representing EMA in and the central point of contact in Tai Tokerau; building & maintaining a close relationship with other local associations and regional development organisations
About you
We are looking for a strong sales professional who holds a deep understanding of the needs of businesses in NZ. You will be able to demonstrate your:
Proven sales skills and sales drive
Ability to work independently to drive growth across the region
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with high profile individuals, executives and employers
Ability to translate complex information into appropriate forms to disseminate different internal and external stakeholders
Strong commitment to customer service to support existing members and acquisition of new membership
A high degree of energy, drive and passion
Self-drive with the ability to successfully plan and priorities short and long-term workflows, highly organised and detail orientated.
