As the Warehouse Manager you will collaborate with the Operations Manager to ensure that the warehouse operates at peak efficiency, focusing on delighting the customer as a primary goal. You will lead and motivate a team of warehouse staff to ensure productivity targets are met whilst maintaining a safe working environment.
The key responsibilities of the role are outlined below;
Develop and execute strategies to enhance warehouse efficiencies
Address customer concerns, identify root causes, and standardise processes across the team
Oversee all warehouse operations, including loading/unloading, receiving, sorting, put away, picking, and inventory control
Communicate daily objectives and monitor team performance to meet targets and deadlines
Maintain up-to-date operational and HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) standard operating procedures
Manage workforce scheduling and approve labour hours and leave.
Enforce accurate inventory control processes and efficient picking operations.
Uphold site maintenance and cleanliness standards
Maintain precise personnel records to ensure compliance with training and licensing requirements
Provide training to address operational challenges and enhance team performance.
Evaluate performance and provide constructive feedback for growth and development
Take prompt action to eradicate employment related issues such as poor timekeeping, attendance and performance, using disciplinary measures when appropriate with the support of HR
Conduct daily safety checks and promote a culture of Zero Harm and HSE compliance
Cultivate a positive and engaged team culture
About you
To excel in this role, you'll need a track record of leadership in warehouse environments, adeptness in people management, a passion for refining processes, and the drive to foster growth through enhanced efficiencies. Your ability to inspire and guide a team, ensuring goals are met, will be key to success.

3+ years of experience in a high-paced warehouse environment
Valid Fork hoist/reach truck licence
Valid First aid certificate
